Overview
Jacobs is seeking a Munitions Response and Recovered Chemical Warfare Materiel (RCWM) Operations Consultant to lead munitions response and RCWM projects. This range is provided by Jacobs. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.
Base pay range: $102,800.00/yr - $151,000.00/yr
Responsibilities
Lead munitions response and RCWM operations to profitably grow opportunities and manage projects through delivery.
Apply technical and management experience to develop competitive and innovative strategies to win work in munitions response and RCWM.
Support the business development team by developing technical approaches and strategies using industry knowledge, relationships, and market understanding.
Interact with key clients, mentor junior technical experts and project managers, and increase competitiveness and market share.
Contribute to development and implementation of corporate-wide policies and procedures in sales and operations.
Collaborate on strategies for execution of Stand-alone Contracts and Task Orders, develop proposal responses (technical approach and pricing), and appoint key personnel.
Manage complex munitions response and RCWM projects as required.
Design and navigate strategy across Munitions Response projects to help the team understand clients’ goals.
Apply knowledge of state-of-the-art investigative techniques and remediation technologies, with a focus on strategic growth in Munitions Response and RCWM.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering, civil engineering, geotechnical engineering, environmental science, geology or related technical degree.
Experience in Munitions Response and RCWM investigation and remediation with emphasis on bidding and winning firm fixed-price (FFP) projects, field operations, and project management.
Advanced knowledge and experience in RCWM, including investigations and remedial/response actions, regulations and requirements, operations, safety, agents, munitions, delivery and storage systems, and related hazards, as well as detection, monitoring, and remote operation and sensing technologies; disposal, neutralization, and demilitarization technologies; and related procedures.
5+ years’ experience bidding and managing munitions response and RCWM projects.
Additional Desired Skills and Experience
Experience bidding and delivering projects that include decontamination and demolition of facilities contaminated with explosives, CWM, and/or biological contaminants is a strong plus.
Professional Engineer (PE), Professional Geologist (PG) license or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
Experience working with key USACE Military Munitions Design Centers and Districts.
Experience, military or civilian, with U.S. Army Engineering and Support Center, Huntsville’s Chemical Warfare Materiel Design Center (CWMDC); Chemical, Biological, Nuclear, and high-yield Explosives (CBRNE) Analytical and Remediation Activity; Combat Capabilities Development Command – Chemical Biological Center; and/or Recovered Chemical Warfare Materiel Directorate.
Experience in cost estimating munitions response and RCWM projects.
RCWM specialized training/certifications.
This position is open to any U.S. location.
Base salary range is $102,800.00 to $151,000.00. Within the range, pay is determined by work location and factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
