Overview Relationship Bankers are responsible for identifying customer needs and matching them with the appropriate bank products and services to enhance customer satisfaction, loyalty, and financial well-being. Utilizing proactive sales and service efforts, coupled with the recognition of referral opportunities, Relationship Bankers will deepen customer relationships while processing a variety of cash and non-cash transactions. Role Details Relationship Banker II - Floaters will travel between assigned branch locations. Responsibilities Coach and serve as a mentor to Relationship Bankers and Tellers. Review and approve various transactions, including night drop contracts/logs, ATM deposits, collection items, money orders, official checks, and cash drawers. Handle cash shipment and vault management for a branch. Originate consumer loans. Identify customer needs and make appropriate referrals through proactive sales and service efforts. Service, sell, and cross-sell deposit accounts, loan products, insurance products, cash management services, etc. Deliver an exceptional customer experience following Trustmark’s service standards. Safeguard the bank’s assets and ensure security while processing transactions accurately. Balance cash drawer daily and ensure appropriate documentation. Achieve sales and referral goals quarterly while providing excellent customer service. Make outreach calls to customers and prospects. Comply with the bank’s policies, procedures, and standards. Travel between branch locations. Perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or GED. At least 2 years of face-to-face customer service, retail sales, or prior Trustmark Relationship Banker experience with a proven track record. Ability to learn Trustmark consumer and mortgage lending guidelines within 2 years. Registration with the National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS). Basic math skills and experience handling routine transactions and cash drawers. Exceptional customer service skills and product knowledge. Ability to pass customer service and math assessments. Ability to meet sales goals in a retail environment. Basic computer skills and ability to learn internal systems. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Time management and attention to detail. Professional appearance and demeanor. Experience in cash drawer management and supervisory roles preferred. Experience in processing consumer or mortgage loans preferred. Knowledge of banking industry specific to Relationship Banker role preferred. Physical Requirements/Working Conditions Must be able to sit or stand for long periods, use a computer, and lift at least 20 pounds. Note:
