The Accounts Receivable Specialist performs resolution-oriented activities with a focus on comprehensive medical billing, payment posting, and collection actions. While ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies, this role is responsible for efficient cash collections through excellent reimbursement practices, accurately posting EFT, credit card, ACH, and check insurance/patient payments, and performing accurate claim billing. Reporting to AR Supervisors or AR Quality & Support Supervisor, this role emphasizes process execution and quality control. Key Responsibilities Payment Posting:

EFT, credit card, ACH, live check, and insurance payments. Research and evaluate insurance payments and correspondence for accuracy, process/post insurance and patient payments, match EOBs, and handle write-offs, batching, and record keeping. Billing:

Timely submission of all claims for payers, review and prepare daily claim/invoice submissions, review rejected claims, perform corrections, and ensure resubmission. Coordinate with outsourced billing partners. Collections:

Follow up on unpaid claims or patient accounts, analyze trends, conduct root cause analysis, resolve billing discrepancies, communicate with patients, and draft appeals to overturn denied claims. Compliance:

Ensure adherence to healthcare regulations, financial standards, and internal policies. Assist in regulatory reporting and monitor compliance with Medicare and other guidelines. Skills and Qualifications:

Analytical skills, excellent communication, proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel, organizational skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities. Experience:

College degree preferred or relevant experience. Minimum of 1 year in claim submission, payment posting, appeals, and denial processes, with knowledge of healthcare reimbursement and insurance plan configurations. Benefits include:
