Base pay range $105,000.00/yr - $125,000.00/yr
Overview Of The Assistant Controller Role
Lead the day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger functions
Review and approve journal entries, reconciliations, and monthly close processes
Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP
Partner with the Controller on audits, providing necessary documentation and addressing auditor requests
Support the development, implementation, and monitoring of internal controls and accounting policies
Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support strategic decision-making
Mentor and provide guidance to accounting staff, fostering professional growth
Act as a key liaison between the accounting department and senior management
Preferred Qualifications For The Assistant Controller
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
6+ years of progressive accounting experience
Strong technical knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles
