Job Description Purpose:
The Controller will be responsible for the monthly closing process, with hands-on oversight of inventory, sales reporting, invoicing, credit notes, and distributor-related activities as part of the closing cycle. The role ensures that all related transactions are accurately recorded, reconciled, and reflected in the financial statements. The Controller will manage the expenses budget, including planning (LBE/Plan/RLP) and monitoring budget utilization.
In addition, the Controller will review, supervise, and approve all required tax and regulatory filings (including VAT and other statutory reports), and maintain robust internal controls, working closely with the accounting function (FSS) responsible for statutory financial reporting.
This position involves cross-functional collaboration with multiple departments to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant reporting. The Controller will also lead and develop a professional PTP team, drive adherence to targets, and promote continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Responsibilities
Lead the monthly and quarterly financial closing processes, ensuring all financial transactions—including inventory, sales, invoicing, credit notes, and distributor activities—are accurately recorded and reconciled.
Supervise, review, and approve all tax and regulatory filings, including VAT and other statutory reports, ensuring full compliance with local and international requirements
Lead, mentor, and develop the Procure-to-Pay (PTP) team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Maintain and strengthen internal controls over financial transactions and reporting processes.
Work closely with the external and internal audit teams to complete all audit cycles effectively and implementing any audit recommendations according to due dates if applicable.
Collaborate with the Financial Shared Services (FSS) on the preparation, submission, and audit of financial reports, ensuring timely and accurate reflection of financial results in the company’s statements and supporting statutory audit requirements
Responsible for coordination and control of the annual financial reporting results in accordance with US-GAAP and local GAAP and meeting all Corporate reporting requirements.
Responsible for entity and balance sheet planning
Responsible for fixed asset accounting, supervision of facility management
Responsible for budget expenses: Build the planning expenses (LBE/Plan/RLP), monitor the budget utilization and prepare the split per product (PPL)
Sparring partner of the Finance Director for strategic and financial Controlling and for improvement proposals and ad hoc finance projects
Approving credit notes issued by the affiliate.
Responsible for Expense dashboard PBI report
Qualifications
CPA license in Israel
BA Degree
