Essential Functions
Prepares periodic financial statements required for external reporting.
Collects and analyzes financial data, ensuring that all reporting is in compliance with SEC and GAAP reporting guidelines.
Consolidates journal entries and financial accounts to be utilized in internal and external financial statements.
Prepares internal reports as required.
Researches accounting rules and regulations and makes recommendations regarding company policy.
May provide support and assistance to external auditors.
Required Qualifications
Required education and experience:
Associate\'s Degree and 5-7 years\' experience OR Equivalent Combination of Relevant Education &/or Experience
Critical professional related technical skills; computer skills:
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Preferred Qualifications
Preferred education and experience:
Bachelor\'s Degree
Discipline/Major:
Business, Finance or accounting degree preferred
Knowledge, skills & abilities:
Capital Budgeting. Month-End Close. Quarter-End Close. Regulatory Reporting. Year-End Close. GAAP Standards. Accounting Software. Financial Analysis Software.
Physical Requirements
Must be able to remain in a stationary position at a desk and/or computer for extended periods of time.
Work primarily in a climate-controlled environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential.
