As a Financial Aid Advisor, you will guide students and their families through financial aid resources and processes. Advisors are typically assigned to either future students or active students. Those who support future students focus on preparing them to start school, while those who support active students ensure ongoing support during their enrollment. Support students through every step of the financial aid process, ensuring they have everything they need to succeed. Deliver Excellence:

Provide exceptional service with compassion, clarity, and efficiency, helping students overcome financial hurdles. Solve Problems:

Identify and address barriers to starting or continuing school with creative and effective solutions. Educate and Empower:

Explain federal aid, FAFSA, scholarships, and more to help students make informed financial decisions. Collaborate for Success:

Work closely with Admissions, Student Services, and other teams to enhance student satisfaction and success. Qualifications

Education:

High School Diploma or GED required; some college coursework is preferred and demonstrates commitment to education, but is not mandatory. Experience:

A minimum of 3 years in customer service or sales; with 2 years in Financial Aid preferred but not required to apply. Title IV:

Experience preferred Skills: Excellent customer service and communication skills Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Proficiency with computer applications (Word, Excel, SharePoint)
