ACCOUNTING CLERK/REP -SAHARA LAKES (FULL-TIME)

Responsibilities
The Valley Health System has expanded into an integrated health network that serves more than two million people in Southern Nevada. This position is for an Accounts Payable Accounting Clerk for Nevada's largest healthcare provider, The Valley Health System, a Universal Health Services company. This includes 8 hospitals throughout Las Vegas region and Northern and Western Nevada, Free Standing ER's, physician practices, and surgical centers. The work environment is an energetic fast-paced/fast-growing dynamic setting. Job Duties include: Sorting invoices daily into appropriate queues Scanning, indexing and keying invoices for payment Creating manual checks Working invoice discrepancies Working with vendors and company buyers to address aged invoices Qualifications
Education:
Associates degree in Accounting preferred but not required. Experience:
Ideal candidate will have one to two years accounts payable experience. Technical Skills:
Computer proficiency to include word processing, spreadsheet, database, and patient accounting system. Proficient in use of 10-key. Other:
Critical thinking skills, team player attitude, and always striving to improve the process. Benefits
