$89,000.00/yr - $93,000.00/yr Position Type:
Direct Hire Compensation:
$89-$93K base salary + 10% annual bonus Key Responsibilities: Cash Management:
Oversee cash receipts, maintain property cash balances, and manage bank reconciliations. Accounts Payable:
Approve large disbursements, process A/P batches, and ensure accurate payments. Rent Roll & Delinquency Oversight:
Review and validate monthly rent rolls, address delinquency, and ensure proper cash receipt applications. Financial Reporting:
Review and prepare financial statements, general ledger entries, income statements, and monthly reports. Bank Accounts:
Monitor account balances, manage fund transfers, and handle stale-dated checks. Reconciliations & Audits:
Assist with CAM, tax escalations, and auditor inquiries. Owner Distributions:
Calculate and initiate owner distributions per agreements. Rent-Up Reports:
Prepare rent-up reports after property manager approval. Compliance:
Ensure timely mortgage/property tax payments, calculate management fees, and file sales tax. Document Management:
Maintain scanned reports and upload documents to OneSpace. Communication:
Collaborate with clients, auditors, tax preparers, and team members. Month-End Closing:
Manage A/P, cash management, and general ledger module closures. Required Qualifications: Education:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred). Experience:
Minimum of 4 years of experience in fee-based property management accounting. Technical Skills:
Proficiency in MRI/Yardi real estate accounting software, Microsoft Excel, Word, and Adobe. Additional Notes: Only candidates with robust, full-time professional experience should apply (no short tenures or contract roles). Seniority level
