We are looking for a
Financial Analyst
who will be responsible for reporting, budgeting, cost analysis, building financial models, and product pricing analysis. The role involves monitoring policies and procedures related to business processes and internal controls, identifying opportunities for efficiency improvements, and providing insights and recommendations. The analyst will also ensure compliance with accounting principles. Duties & Responsibilities
Model the Ottobock Code of Conduct by respecting others, taking responsibility, adopting a solution-oriented approach to challenges, and recognizing success stemming from personal initiative and dedication. Establish and monitor internal controls to ensure accounting activities comply with legal, regulatory, and company policies. Focus on intercompany relationships and regional cost sharing. Perform variance analysis on gross margin, wages/FTE, and operational expenses. Extract, analyze, and prepare data for month-end close activities and provide information to headquarters during close. Provide initial variance explanations during closing processes. Deliver analysis and insights to key business partners regarding results and recommendations. Assist in analyzing and reviewing the financial performance of the assigned healthcare business unit, including trend analysis and reporting. Conduct pricing and gross margin analyses, collaborating with sales and marketing to identify improvement opportunities. Analyze sales and cost variances, interpret trends, and provide feedback to management. Support the development and review of performance metrics for the business unit, including variance analysis and trend reporting. Prepare month-end and year-end financial reports, including adjusting and closing entries, and submit required documentation timely. Qualifications
2-3 years of experience in accounting or finance; international experience is a plus. ERP experience, especially with SAP and financial consolidation software like Hyperion, is preferred. Experience in process development and implementation, with the ability to recognize opportunities for improvement. Proactive, organized, and results-driven.
