As a Relationship Banker (RB), you will be responsible for building, expanding, and retaining existing client relationships while providing an exceptional client experience. Relationship Bankers will offer expert financial solutions to clients by assessing their needs and providing suitable bank products and services to help achieve their financial goals. They will market Simmons solutions through daily interactions, outbound calls, business visits, networking events, and periodic ‘At Work’ events. Relationship Bankers are expected to meet or exceed individual and branch goals. They may also assist clients with account services, teller transactions, and problem resolution. All Relationship Banker positions will receive comprehensive training on products, services, needs-based conversations, and tools necessary for the role. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Execute all responsibilities of a Relationship Banker while being available to assist in all branches within the market area as needed. Share and recommend the bank’s full scope of resources, including in-branch services, digital capabilities, and business partner resources. Meet individual goals through in-person and outbound calling activities, sharing solutions based on customer needs. Assist with opening and closing accounts, performing research, and complying with BSA and CIP requirements. Facilitate consumer loan requests, maintain knowledge of policies, and assist with loan portfolios. Uncover customer needs and refer them to appropriate teams for small business, corporate, mortgage, and financial advisory services. Maintain high customer satisfaction by engaging customers and providing excellent service. Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies, and procedures, including completing required training. Process customer requests and transactions professionally, engaging in genuine conversations to identify needs and recommend solutions. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Skills Ability to motivate and present information effectively to customers, clients, and colleagues. Embrace a team-centric approach to help customers in a fast-paced banking environment. Coach and lead the branch team in the absence of an AFCM. Education and/or Experience HS Diploma/GED One year of customer-facing, goal-oriented experience Must register with the National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) and obtain a license after employment.
