Overview
Boden Talent is supporting our client in the search for a Certified General Real Estate Appraiser to join their high-performing, family-owned commercial real estate business. This is a key hire, and the position is being filled immediately. Candidates will be asked to provide work samples as part of the interview process. Essential Experience & Requirements
Must be a Certified General Real Estate Appraiser (Registered Appraisal Assistants, Certified Residential, or Licensed Residential Appraisers cannot be considered — this is a non-negotiable requirement). Confident testifying in property tax cases or litigation. Proven experience appraising a variety of asset types including land, new developments, multi-family, office, industrial, special-purpose, and retail. Capable of producing 2+ appraisal reports per week, with writer and administrative support. Eminent domain experience preferred (interest in this area also welcomed). MAI designation or interest in pursuing MAI certification is an advantage. The Right Fit
Works well in a collaborative team but thrives without micromanagement. Comfortable in a close-knit, family-owned company of 20–30 employees (appraisal team fewer than 10). Positive attitude, adaptable, and solutions-focused when faced with challenging or unique assignments. Comfortable handling shifting priorities and busy workloads.
