Job Summary
Sycamores provides a spectrum of equitable mental health services through various programs to multicultural populations of all acuities. Although it serves a variety of consumers, the agency focuses primarily on providing care to low‑income, high‑at‑risk youth.
Provide analytics support as part of the Finance team at Sycamores. This position will assist in the budget process (capital and operating) and financial analysis for Sycamores. The role will support organizational decision‑making through high‑level analysis, reporting, research, and effective use of data generated from various sources. The analyst will work as part of a team on projects that relate to financial planning and analysis, risk assessment, revenue forecasting, and operational excellence.
Compensation Starting Pay Range: $40.86 - $42.88 per hour (starting pay will be based on previous work experience and educational background).
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree OR at least 2-3 years of relevant experience required.
Healthcare or social services industry experience strongly preferred.
Working knowledge of financial accounting principles and/or electronic health record (EHR) systems; familiarity with Blackbaud and Netsmart a plus.
Proficiency in monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting processes; ability to synthesize large datasets into clear insights for leadership.
Knowledge of internal controls (and Sarbanes Oxley as applicable) preferred.
Knowledge of established industry practices and ability to evaluate and improve business processes.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel (pivot tables, lookups, modeling) and Access; SQL or other data tools a plus.
Strong analytical skills, problem‑solving ability, and attention to detail.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with proven ability to present complex information to non‑technical audiences.
Maintains all required licenses and certifications.
