Type of Opportunity: Full Time (1.0 FTE/39-40 hours per week). Work Schedule: (3) 13‑hour shifts or (4) 10‑hour shifts in Days, Nights, or Swings.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required

Current New Mexico driver's license is required (out‑of‑state candidates have 30 days from date of hire to obtain) without relevant restrictions

Must be at least 18 years of age with a driving record insurable per Presbyterian policy

Must possess and maintain a State of New Mexico EMT-Intermediate license

Must maintain all required certifications (i.e. BLS, DOT certification)

Must be up to date with FEMA 100, 200, 700 courses

Ability to perform CPR and all skills associated with EMT-Intermediate licensure

1‑2 years of EMT experience preferred

Responsibilities

Documents and maintains accurate medical records for patient encounters through use of ImageTrend Elite.

Provides prehospital 911 emergency care and/or Inter‑facility transportation for injured and/or ill patients.

Performs in scope ILS interventions such as medication administration, intravenous therapy, and advanced airways.

Attendance at departmental staff meetings and/or in‑service educational programs while keeping current with developments in the field.

Proactively utilizes best practices to minimize response and drop times.Operates emergency vehicles in a safe manner, consistent with EVOC.

Compensation Minimum Offer: USD $15.87/Hr.

Maximum Offer: USD $23.04/Hr.

Shift Differentials: $2.00/hr Ambulance Service Differential, $5.00/hr Night Differential, $3.00/hr Weekend Differential, $1.00/hr ILS‑C Diff.

This position is eligible for Sign On Bonuses.
