Senior Manager, Accounts Receivable
to lead and modernize our global receivables function. This role goes beyond traditional AR management—owning not just billing and collections execution, but also policy, strategy, and process improvements that minimize bad debt, strengthen controls, and improve cash flow. This is a high-visibility role with a direct impact on working capital and the company0s financial strategy. The position is hybrid (3 days per week in office) and located in Austin, TX. Responsibilities
Lead, mentor, and develop the AR team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. Lead and manage all accounts receivable, credit, billing, and collections operations across global entities. Build, implement, and enforce AR policies and frameworks to ensure accuracy, compliance, and scalability. Oversee invoicing processes to ensure timeliness, accuracy, and alignment with contractual and revenue recognition requirements. Conduct credit evaluations and approvals, set credit limits, and monitor credit risk exposure for high-value accounts. Serve as the executive escalation point for complex collections, disputes, and overdue accounts. Develop and execute collection strategies to reduce DSO and improve cash flow. Collaborate with Finance, Sales, Legal, RevOps, and Customer Success teams to resolve billing issues and improve processes. Partner with Cash Applications and Fraud teams to ensure integrity of receivables data and minimize risk. Drive process improvements and automation initiatives to strengthen internal controls and improve efficiency. Deliver reporting and insights on collections trends, credit exposure, and AR performance to Treasury and Finance leadership. Support internal and external audits, ensuring compliance and timely delivery of documentation. Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA, Certified Credit Executive (CCE), or equivalent a plus). 7+ years of AR/collections experience, including at least 3 years in a management role. Strong knowledge of credit risk management, billing operations, and collections strategy. Proven track record managing AR in multi-entity, high-volume, or complex billing environments. Proficiency with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills; experience with billing automation tools or AR analytics platforms preferred. Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and work cross-functionally. Strong leadership skills with experience in hiring, mentoring, and developing teams. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Experience supporting audits, compliance requirements, and monthly close processes. Preferred
Experience in SaaS, logistics, or eCommerce industries. Exposure to fraud prevention, risk management, or revenue operations. History of leading large-scale process improvements and transformation initiatives. Technology
