Night Auditor - Full Time

Pathfinder Hospitality About the Role Hotel Night Auditor. We know you are organized, work best when the world sleeps, and can stay calm under pressure while maintaining accurate financial records and guest service excellence. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Minimum 1-2 years of experience in accounting, finance, or hospitality roles preferred but not required. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and rectify discrepancies. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate financial records. Proficiency in computer skills and hotel PMS (property management system) software. Ability to work independently and utilize time management and multitasking skills to prioritize tasks and work efficiently during a night shift. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with guests, colleagues, and management. Calm and composed demeanor to handle unexpected situations and maintain composure under pressure. Reliability and integrity to adhere to ethical standards and ensure confidentiality of financial information. Responsibilities Balance and reconcile all daily financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and completeness of cash handling, guest charges, and revenue reports. Post room rates and taxes, update guest ledger accounts, and generate accurate nightly audit reports for management. Manage check-in and check-out processes during late hours, providing courteous and efficient service to arriving and departing guests. Respond to guest inquiries and requests promptly, resolving concerns and issues with professionalism and platinum service. Communicate promptly with other departments about guest needs, potential security issues, or operational updates. Reconcile credit card and cash transactions, analyze account discrepancies, and initiate chargebacks when necessary.
