ATHENA Accounting and Finance is seeking a
Collections Specialist
to join our team. In this role, you will play a critical part in recovering assets while upholding professional and ethical standards. Your expertise in collections, judgment enforcement, and asset recovery will be key to ensuring successful financial outcomes. Key Responsibilities: Manage collections for
merchant cash advance (MCA) accounts
with professionalism and efficiency. Utilize advanced
skip tracing techniques
to locate debtors. Implement
judgment enforcement strategies , including garnishments and lien placements. Conduct
detailed asset searches
to identify recoverable assets. Collaborate with
private investigators and third-party professionals
as needed. Negotiate
payment plans
while maintaining compliance with industry regulations. Maintain accurate records of
collection efforts and account statuses . Qualifications & Experience: 2+ years of experience
in
merchant cash advance (MCA) collections . Associate degree or higher
in finance, accounting, business, or a related field. 2–5 years of proven experience in collections
(MCA industry experience preferred). Proficiency in
skip tracing tools and investigative methodologies . Strong knowledge of
judgment enforcement, garnishments, and lien processing . Familiarity with
asset search tools and financial recovery techniques . Ability to work collaboratively with
legal teams and private investigators . Excellent
communication, negotiation, and problem-solving
skills. Detail-oriented with strong
account management capabilities . Compensation: Base Salary + Commission $65,000 – $120,000
