Overview Financial Services Organization Private Client Services (PCS) is a growing practice within EY, focused on privately held companies and their owners and families. Clients range from family-owned businesses to private equity–owned companies. Many are high-growth private enterprises; the work includes technically demanding tax planning and compliance that can have a meaningful impact on client outcomes. You’ll be part of a global team and receive support designed to develop your technical tax knowledge, leadership, and business acumen as you contribute to a dynamic tax practice.
Responsibilities
Review complex individual tax returns for Private Tax clients. This is a seasonal role with remote work within the United States.
Skills and Attributes for Success
A strategic eye toward prioritizing when working on multiple complex projects
Experience performing high-quality reviews of complex tax returns
Knowledge/experience handling Individual, Gift, Trust, and Estate Tax Returns – 1040, 1041, 706, 709
Comfort with working remotely in a virtual team environment, including collaboration with an offshore shared services center
Qualifications
Valid US CPA license or Enrolled Agent (EA) or active state bar membership
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related discipline
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in tax compliance for private client individuals in financial services
Strong analytical, written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal abilities, problem-solving, and attention to detail
Ideal Background
A proven record of excellence in tax accounting for financial statements with a top or mid-tier firm

The salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $90/hr to $120/hr. Salaries within that range are determined by factors including education, experience, knowledge, skills, and geography.
