Trained Medication Assistant (TMA) | Full-Time Overnight/NOC | Every other weekend rotation | TMA hours split with CNA hours
Ecumen Lakeshore - The Fountains provides short-term rehab and post-hospital care for up to 60 patients in spacious, private rooms. The Trained Medication Assistant (TMA) is responsible for providing direct care and medication administration to residents as per the individual care plan and under the supervision of licensed staff. The TMA is a Certified Nursing Assistant with additional training in medication administration.

The targeted pay range for this position is $22.01 - $25.38 per hour. Compensation is based on experience, qualifications, certifications, licenses, and education.

Essential Job Responsibilities:
Administers medications to residents under the supervision of a licensed nurse.
Documents all medications given, including medication name, dosage, time, and resident details.
Immediately reports any medication errors or resident refusals to the nurse.
Maintains and secures all medications, following all state and federal guidelines for administration, storage, and disposal.
Responds to resident call lights and requests, notifying the nurse of any care needs or changes.
Observes and reports unsafe conditions or equipment malfunctions.
Performs all CNA functions as required (feeding, transfers, ADLs, etc.).
Minimum Qualifications:
Must be 18 years or older.
Certified Nursing Assistant registered in good standing and completed the Trained Medication Assistant course.
Minimum of 1000 CNA work hours.
Ability to adhere to all safety and regulatory policies, including HIPAA, Resident's Bill of Rights, OSHA, and others.
