Job Duties
Verify and process invoices, ensuring appropriate documentation per company policies and procedures.
Send invoice reminders and communicate with payees via phone, email, fax, or mail as applicable.
Enter data on invoices and ensure proper coding on documents.
Maintain accounting reports and spreadsheets.
Post customer payments by recording cash, checks, and credit card transactions and entering them into the general ledger or accounting software.
Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure all payments are accounted for and properly posted.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills & Qualifications
Minimum of two years’ experience with accounts receivable.
Associate’s degree in accounting or business preferred.
Strong customer service skills.
Strong computer skills and high attention to detail.
Team player with strong time management and excellent data entry skills.
Good math skills and ability to work overtime when needed.
Maintain confidentiality and comply with background check and drug/alcohol tests.
