Job Category: Administrative Support. Job Title: Senior Compensation Analyst. The Senior Compensation Analyst plays a critical role in the administration and continuous improvement of the Company’s compensation programs. This position is responsible for ensuring that compensation practices support business objectives, comply with legal standards, and promote internal equity and external competitiveness. Key responsibilities include reviewing job descriptions, conducting comprehensive job evaluations and pricing including FLSA classification, analyzing market salary data, and serving as a trusted advisor to HR partners on compensation-related matters.
Key Responsibilities Conduct job evaluations and pricing, including determining FLSA classification. Maintain the Shared Services job architecture and create new job codes for new positions, ensuring consistency and alignment across the organization. Facilitate the end-to-end process for annual bonus administration, including collecting and validating bonus data, coordinating payroll processing, and conducting final approval files. Partner with HRIS to configure and launch the Merit tool, ensuring accurate setup and appropriate security roles. Serve as the primary contact for VPHRs, addressing inquiries and providing guidance throughout the merit process. Assist in developing communications and training materials to support the Annual Compensation Cycle. Ensure that Compensation programs remain legally compliant by monitoring changes in federal and state minimum wage laws, staying current on FLSA regulations, and partnering with Legal and leadership to maintain company-wide compliance. Conduct regular audits related to minimum wage and FLSA classification to mitigate risk and ensure adherence to labor laws. Lead Securitas Group initiatives, for example, Living Wage studies, CSRD reporting etc. Manage salary survey process, including participating and tracking submission deadlines and associated costs, processing payments, analyzing survey results to inform compensation strategy. Generate ad-hoc compensation reports as needed in Oracle. Identify and recommend enhancements to compensation tools and systems to improve efficiency and data accuracy. Perform additional responsibilities as assigned, consistent with the scope and nature of the role.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in one of the following fields: Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or related field. Degrees in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Finance, Data Science, Actuarial Science, Engineering, or a related discipline with a strong emphasis on quantitative analysis and data interpretation are strongly preferred.
Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) preferred.
Minimum 5 years of progressive compensation experience.
Experience with compensation survey tools (e.g., Radford, Mercer, Willis Towers Watson).
Exceptional attention to detail and a high level of organization skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and ensure precision in data handling and reporting.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including functions such as VLOOKUP, pivot tables and macros.
Effective communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly and respond to inquiries from internal stakeholders and external partners.
Experience with an HCM platform, for example, Workday, SAP, Oracle (preferred).
Proactive and collaborative team player, with a self-starter mindset and a focus on delivering excellence.
High attention to detail and confidentiality.
