is searching to add a well experienced
Full Charge Bookkeeper
to their team. The Bookkeeper is responsible for maintaining financial records, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments. This position will also be responsible for HR duties including explaining benefits to new employees and ensuring payroll is completed. Location
Location: Gainesville, FL (on-site) Salary
Salary Range: $75k-$80k (flexible/based on experience) What will the Bookkeeper do?
Lead all bookkeeping, Finance and HR related tasks managing 1-2 other employees to ensure all tasks are completed timely and accurately. Complete journal entries in general ledger utilizing QuickBooks. Enter data, create invoices, maintain records, and create reports and financial statements utilizing QuickBooks and other systems and tools. Accounts Receivables and Payables; reviewing and changing any discrepancies. Communicate with senior management and share financial reports weekly, monthly, quarterly, and as needed. Support Sales in completing reports and ensuring sales tax is set up within each state the business operates in. Review contracts and coordinate with appropriate risk and legal counsel as appropriate. Purchase necessary permits for the company fleet. Manage insurance and benefits for up to 40 employees. Accurately input and complete payroll for up to 40 employees. Manage temporary employees’ hours with staffing agencies. Review contracts and coordinate with Risk consultants on all renewals and claims. You must have
5+ years of accrual-based business accounting experience. 5+ years working as a Bookkeeper or similar role. QuickBooks experience. Proven ability to calculate, post, and manage accounting figures and financial records. Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable/receivable principles. This is a highly sensitive job, and applicant must keep an extremely confidential rapport. Ability to adapt and problem solve in changing situations. Excellent communication and organization skills. Good customer service and relationship building experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office. A high school diploma, GED, or equivalent. Seniority level
