The role involves managing, retaining, and expanding existing business relationships, developing new business, and servicing various commercial relationships. You will grow revenue by prospecting for new business and maintaining existing customer relationships. The position manages a portfolio of up to 75 clients with credit outstanding up to $100MM. Focus is on businesses with sales of $25MM - $100MM within targeted industries. The role requires functioning with levels of individual authority determined by guidelines, including negotiations on credit, pricing, terms, and structure. Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Solicit new and prospective loan and deposit relationships. Develop and execute a business development plan to meet goals, including a disciplined contact schedule to promote client satisfaction and attract profitable relationships. Identify cross-sell opportunities and market a broad range of financial products. Build internal relationships with departments like Product Management, Treasury Management, and Credit Underwriting to meet customer objectives. Guide less experienced Commercial Bankers in understanding bank products, services, credit standards, and pricing. Additional Duties
Partner with the Commercial Underwriter to assess credit risk and structure suitable credit solutions. Identify client needs and offer appropriate bank products and services. Cultivate prospects through referrals, networking, and community relationships. Develop customer relationships through calls and support activities. Monitor loan portfolio credit quality and manage risks. Analyze credit status and ensure portfolio quality and yield. Use automated systems for business development activities. Stay informed on industry, market, and competitor changes. Assemble financial information and generate loan packages for approval. Assist in strategic planning projects such as budgeting and process improvements. Perform other duties as assigned, complying with relevant laws and regulations. Supervisory Responsibilities
None Minimum Education, Experience & Knowledge
Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Accounting or Finance. 8-10 years of relationship management experience in banking products. Extensive knowledge of credit and non-credit products. Proficiency in credit underwriting and financial analysis. Knowledge of commercial loan products and lending/regulatory compliance. Essential Mental & Physical Requirements
