Job Summary

The

Executive Sous Chef

will support the Executive Chef in overseeing kitchen operations at FIS Global's corporate headquarters in Jacksonville, FL. This role requires a focus on maintaining a safe and sanitary work environment while ensuring the preparation of high-quality meals in line with corporate standards. Key Responsibilities: Assist the Executive Chef in ensuring compliance with all sanitation, safety, ServSafe, production, and merchandising standards. Lead, motivate, and develop a team of 7 hourly associates to meet operational goals and exceed customer expectations. Oversee the preparation and presentation of high-quality food in a cost-effective manner. Manage all aspects of planning, ordering, inventory, and food preparation. Support cost control management and monitor expenditures for the kitchen operation. Work alongside the marketing and culinary teams to roll out new culinary programs and initiatives. Perform additional duties as needed to ensure smooth kitchen operations. Qualifications: B.S. in Culinary Arts, Food Services Management, or related field; or A.O.S. in Culinary Arts with additional specialized training. 3-5 years of relevant culinary experience, with a strong background in scratch cooking and catering. Proven experience managing kitchen teams and working in a high-volume, corporate environment. Ability to work in a fast-paced setting while ensuring quality and efficiency. Knowledge of food costs, product quality, and inventory control. Excellent communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills. ServSafe, HACCP, or other applicable food safety certification. Creative food presentation skills and an understanding of current culinary trends. Additional Information: Modern kitchen facility with free garage parking.
