Teach lecture/lab Photography practices; both film-based/wet darkroom as well as digital
Monitor and maintain the safety of the digital lab, lighting studio, and darkroom
Provide excellent instruction and facilitate student engagement.
Provide grades and feedback on progress throughout the semester.
Cover the required technical and theoretical aspects of the syllabus.
Maintain student attendance records.
Submit interim and final grades by published deadlines.
Hold office hours.
Meet each class twice weekly. Each class period is 1 hour and 50 minutes

Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Photography Professional experience as a Photographer as demonstrated with a portfolio Expertise in the use of film using 35mm, 120 and 4x5 cameras Expertise in the technical aspects of digital capture technologies Experience in maintaining a darkroom and lighting studio Proficiency in the Adobe Suite with emphasis on Lightroom and Photoshop Experience teaching in-person at the college-level Preferred: Master's Degree in Photography or a related area Experience in an online Course Management System such as Brightspace Dedication to SUNY Oneonta's commitments to diversity, equity, accessibility, and inclusivity.
