The Hilton Greenville has 259 rooms, 20,000 sq. ft. of Meeting Space, and is home to Cast Iron-Greenville which offers delicious takes on Southern favorites. It is imperative that the Banquet Captain keeps informed and becomes involved in the entire banquet execution process. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Supervise and train banquet servers, bartenders and assist on all daily banquet operations. Ensure staff follows proper service techniques. Thoroughly communicate function information with your team of servers. Understand how to read and execute a BEO form. Ensure all meeting rooms are set according to BEOs and are clean and organized at all times. Perform daily inspections of banquet hallways, meeting rooms, storerooms, and public areas for organization and cleanliness. Attend BEO meetings. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Two years’ experience in a supervisory banquet role. Food handlers’ certificate and Tips Trained required. Basic computer skills including email, data entry, and Microsoft Office. Working knowledge of A/V, Weddings, liquor/wine, and Banquets. Qualifications

Prior Banquet Captain experience in a Full Service Hotel preferred. Behaviors
