This announcement aims to build a pool of candidates for upcoming adjunct (part-time) opportunities within the Counseling Department. We are recruiting for adjunct faculty to teach courses in Counseling, offered in in-person, hybrid, and online formats. Duties and Responsibilities
Teach graduate core counseling courses or specialized counseling courses. Adhere to course syllabus requirements. Maintain accurate records of grades and attendance. Provide timely feedback and respond to student emails. Submit midterm and final grades by deadlines. Teach courses as assigned by the Department Chair and follow University policies. Minimum Qualifications for Core Counseling Courses
Master's degree in counseling; a PhD or EdD from a CACREP-accredited program is preferred. Ability to successfully pass a background check. Excellent analytical, oral, and written communication skills, and teamwork. At least 2 years of university-level teaching experience. Preferred Qualifications for Specialty Areas
Clinical Mental Health Counseling: LPC or NCC certification. Clinical Rehabilitation Counseling: CRCS certification. School Counselor Education: current school counseling certificate. Application Process
