HVAC Instructor - Continuing Education

Position Overview:
We are seeking experienced and enthusiastic Part-Time Continuing Education Instructors to teach HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) courses. The ideal candidate will have substantial professional experience in the HVAC field, preferably with training on Trane equipment and NC3 (National Coalition of Certification Centers) certification. A passion for teaching and the ability to engage adult learners in practical, hands-on learning experiences are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and deliver high-quality instructional content for HVAC courses. Prepare and present course materials in a clear and accessible manner. Foster an inclusive and interactive classroom environment that promotes student engagement and success. Utilize a variety of instructional methods to accommodate different learning styles. Assess student performance through assignments, tests, projects, or other evaluative measures. Provide timely and constructive feedback to students. Maintain accurate records of student attendance and performance. Stay current in the HVAC field through professional development and industry engagement. Collaborate with the Continuing Education department on course development and improvement. Qualifications:
Extensive professional experience in the HVAC field. Training on Trane equipment is preferred. NC3 certification is preferred. Prior teaching or training experience, preferably with adult learners. Strong communication and presentation skills. Ability to create a positive learning environment and adapt to diverse student needs. Proficiency with technology and instructional tools.
