Early Head Start (EHS) Lead Teacher

Program Name: The Children's Workshop Foundation Program Address: 15 Clarkson St Providence RI 02908 Position Description: The Children's Workshop has expanded the Early Head Start (EHS) programs offered to children under the age of 3 at our school locations. EHS programs provide comprehensive child development and family support services to infants and toddlers and their families along with professional growth opportunities for educators. We are seeking an experienced Infant/Toddler Lead Teacher who is caring, creative, and committed to join our team! In this role, you'll create and deliver age appropriate curriculum, establish daily classroom routines and professionally communicate with parents/guardians. You'll work collaboratively with a Teacher Assistant in your classroom with the support of our experienced Education Program team. This is a full time Monday to Friday position with weekends off. Competitive hourly pay rate and full benefits package including paid time off and medical/dental/vision insurance. Qualifications: Candidates must have an Infant/Toddler Child Development Associate credential (CDA) or a college degree in Early Childhood Education. Past classroom experience, a positive approach, and knowledge of RIELDS are a must. Educators working in the EHS program are required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
