Assistant Professor of Finance (Financial Engineering)

The Department of Finance in the College of Business at California State University, Long Beach (CSULB) invites applications for the tenure-track Assistant Professor position to start in Fall 2026. Required Qualifications: Ph.D. in Finance, Financial Engineering, DBA in Finance, or related field from an AACSB (or EQUIS) accredited institution. Degree at time of application or official notification of completion of the doctoral degree by August 1, 2026. Demonstrated potential for effective teaching at the undergraduate and graduate level in the areas of investment, asset pricing, and general finance Demonstrated ability to develop curriculum at undergraduate and graduate levels Demonstrated potential for research, scholarship, and creative activities leading to publication Demonstrated potential for service contributions to the department, college, university, and broader community Preferred Qualifications: Ph.D. in Finance, Financial Engineering, DBA in Finance, or related field from an AACSB (or EQUIS) accredited institution.
