Overview
The department of neurosurgery in the Jacobs School is actively recruiting for a laboratory technician. This individual will work closely with the Principal Investigator (PI) in the genomics of cerebrovascular disease. This role includes both research duties and clinical responsibilities involving patient samples. Responsibilities
Data collection and entry Assist the PI in report writing and graphical presentation of research Manage laboratory samples The individual will also be expected to work in a clinical setting with patient samples. Benefits

At least 1 year of experience in a laboratory setting Preferred Qualifications
Laboratory skills including qPCR, western blots, and cell cultures Strong interest in neuroscience Physical Demands
Salary Range
Salary Range $16.00 - 20.00 per hour Additional Salary Information
