Church Purpose The purpose of Timberwood Church is to honor God by making more disciples for Jesus Christ, worshipping, serving, and celebrating together.

Personal theological beliefs

Qualifications
Baccalaureate or graduate theological degree, or comparable
Experience with student and young adult ministries or similar
Understanding of Christian education within the local church, including:
Evangelism, discipleship, and teaching
Program development and leadership
Recruitment, motivation, and training of teachers and volunteers
Support for the Church Covenant and Statement of Faith as per the Timberwood Church Constitution
Commitment to the church's Purpose Statement and core values: Outreach, Spiritual Formation, Leadership
Support for traditional evangelical theology
Good standing membership at Timberwood Church
Responsibilities The Next Gen Pastor/Director will focus on ministry to individuals aged 16-29, primarily targeting senior high students and young adults. Key responsibilities include:
Designing and implementing programs such as discipleship, small groups, and educational courses, emphasizing community, assimilation, and volunteer development. This includes:
Active discipleship
Leadership development
Personal evangelism
Resource development for community and ministry training
Program control and oversight
Modeling and promoting evangelism as a lifestyle
Maintaining personal contact with individuals and families
Performing administrative tasks as assigned by the Senior Pastor, including collaboration with ministry teams and community engagement
Performing other tasks as directed by the Senior Pastor
Relationships
Reports to the Senior Pastor
Coordinates with the Family Ministry Director and related teams
Supervises volunteer staff for young adult ministry
Collaborates with other church staff members
