As an unarmed patrol officer, you will deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols, maintaining a highly visible presence, interacting with residents, and supporting access control needs. Schedule What You’ll Do :
Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities
Provide customer service to residents and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond to emergency situations when appropriate
Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly to help maintain order within the residential community
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the residential property and its perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns
Observe and report unusual activity, property damage, or maintenance issues to the appropriate personnel
Work collaboratively with Allied Universal team members and property management to address security-related needs and concerns
Maintain a visible presence to deter unwanted behavior and provide reassurance to residents and guests
What We’re Looking For
Availability across various days and shifts
Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments
A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company
Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available
Minimum Requirements
A valid driver’s license as per Allied Universal policy requirements
CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred
Experience in customer service is preferred
Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles
High school diploma or equivalent
Background check as required by federal, state, and local laws
Criminal histories reviewed in compliance with applicable laws
Drug screen required where permitted by law
Licensing requirements may apply depending on state/local laws
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only
