Koniag Information Technology Services (KITS), a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking a Business Systems Analyst I with an interim Top Secret clearance to support our Army customer in Huntsville, Alabama. This on-site role will focus on business process improvement, technology adoption, and systems implementation for the Army Materiel Command (AMC). The ideal candidate will possess a balance of business acumen and technical skills to analyze current processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement effective solutions. This position requires on-site presence in Huntsville, Alabama. Position Description The Business Systems Analyst I will play a key role in supporting AMC's business process improvement initiatives and technology adoption strategies. Principal responsibilities will include but are not limited to: Analyze existing business processes to identify areas for modernization and improvement Gather and document IT requirements through stakeholder interviews, workshops, and system analysis Design comprehensive solutions encompassing software, hardware, and infrastructure components Implement new systems and technologies according to established requirements and timelines Conduct thorough testing to ensure solutions meet all specified requirements Facilitate system integration while minimizing disruption to existing operations Develop and deliver training materials and user support documentation Provide ongoing user support and troubleshooting assistance Proactively identify opportunities for continuous improvement in business systems Propose innovative solutions to optimize business processes and system functionality Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery Prepare comprehensive documentation including analysis reports, requirements specifications, implementation plans, test results, and training materials Ensure all solutions comply with Army regulations and security requirements Required Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field 1-3 years of experience in business analysis, systems implementation, or similar role Experience with business process analysis and requirements gathering Familiarity with project management principles and methodologies Experience working with technical and non-technical stakeholders Interim top secret required Required Skills And Competencies: Strong understanding of business operations and process improvement concepts Proficiency in business intelligence tools and data analysis techniques Experience with project management tools and methodologies Knowledge of data analysis and visualization techniques Familiarity with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams Proficiency in creating technical and user documentation Understanding of system testing principles and practices Ability to obtain and maintain required security clearances Willingness to work on-site in Huntsville, Alabama Desired Skills And Competencies: Experience working with Army or DoD customers Knowledge of Army Materiel Command operations and processes Certifications in business analysis (CBAP, CCBA) or project management (PMP, CAPM) Experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems Knowledge of IT service management frameworks (ITIL, etc.) Experience with Agile methodologies Understanding of cybersecurity principles and compliance requirements Experience with systems integration and data migration Proficiency in SQL or other database query languages Our Equal Employment Opportunity Policy The company is an equal opportunity employer.
