Job DescriptionJob DescriptionPosition Summary:We are seeking a skilled and motivated Access Control Install Technician to join our growing team in the Nashville area. This role involves the installation, configuration, and servicing of access control systems, door hardware, and other low-voltage security components for commercial and industrial clients. The ideal candidate has a strong technical background, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.Key Responsibilities: Install and wire access control systems including readers, controllers, power supplies, electric locks, and related hardware Mount and terminate low-voltage cabling (Cat5e/Cat6, RS-485, etc.) in accordance with system designs Perform system configurations, testing, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal functionality Interpret and work from blueprints, schematics, and installation plans Coordinate with general contractors, project managers, and other trades on job sites Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used Ensure all work complies with local codes, industry standards, and customer specifications Maintain a clean and professional work environment on-site Follow all company safety policies and procedures Qualifications:Required: 3+ years of experience in access control, low-voltage, or security system installation Familiarity with common access control systems (e.g., Lenel, AMAG, Avigilon, Genetec, Brivo, HID, etc.) Ability to install and troubleshoot electric strikes, maglocks, door position switches, and request-to-exit devices Experience pulling and terminating structured cabling Proficiency using basic hand and power tools Valid driver’s license and clean driving record Must pass a background check and drug screening #STEI
