Project Developer - Photovoltaik & Battery Energy Storage System (f/m/x) Location:

Germany (remote), with opportunities to meet in Hamburg, Berlin and Cologne.

Responsibilities

Evaluating new business and project opportunities through co-development partnerships in Germany focused on large-scale PV, BESS and hybrid projects.

Support the Business Development team in identifying attractive market segments and geographies for PV and BESS development opportunities.

Performing due diligence processes of development projects alongside internal teams and external advisors.

Being the lead for onboarded projects, managing and steering the co-development projects and the relationship with the development partner.

Collaborating with internal EPC, M&A and Finance teams to develop proposals, presentations, and marketing materials to support the comprehensive structuring of project during the development phase.

Monitoring and reporting on development activities, including project and pipeline status, budget, risks and opportunities as well as recommend actions to mitigate project and financial risks.

Represent the company at industry events, conferences and trade shows.

Job Requirements

Extremely high proactivity, open personality and passion for the development of renewable energies.

Native-level German and a high level of English; strong understanding of the renewable energy market in Germany, including PV, BESS and other sustainable energy technologies.

Several years of experience in development in the renewable energy sector, with emphasis on PV and BESS.

Ideally in-depth experience with grid operators and grid connection processes.

A good understanding of project economics.

Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners and internal stakeholders.

Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering or a related field.
