We are currently seeking a Monitor Technician to join our team. As our Monitor Tech you will perform a variety of duties including EKG monitoring and interpretation, compiling, transcribing, preparing and maintaining records for your unit. You will also provide information and communication services to visitors and staff and assist nursing staff in maintaining efficient operations on the unit. We are an amazing team that works hard to support each other and are seeking a phenomenal addition like you who feels patient care is as meaningful as we do. Your tasks and responsibilities may include: Interpret Rhythms and Arrhythmias. Report all changes in heart rate/rhythm to appropriate nursing staff. Maintain Telemetry Supplies. Record patient condition utilizing computerized documentation systems. Perform duties with full understanding of related age specific factors. Orient and mentor new staff members. Follow Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required. Qualifications
BLS Healthcare Provider Completion of Basic EKG/Arrhythmia course. Demonstrated ability to interpret cardiac rhythms and arrhythmias Working knowledge of medical terminology CMT/Cardiac Experience Preferred Experience as a monitor tech in a hospital setting preferred We are seeking candidates who align with our patient-centered approach and are committed to providing high-quality, efficient care.
