Northrop Grumman is seeking a Software Configuration Analyst / Principal Software Configuration Analyst in Melbourne, FL. This role may be filled at the Base or Principal level based on listed qualifications.
Responsibilities
Supporting the maturation of the engineering digital thread
Supporting the development of engineering PLM tools and processes
Supporting the capture of PLM requirements for stakeholders
Documenting stakeholder use cases
Validation and testing of PLM tool functionality
Directly supporting the Systems Engineering Manager on a daily basis
Creating training/best practice documentation
Basic Qualifications (Base)
Must have a Bachelor of Science degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math (STEM) discipline AND 2 years of related professional/military experience OR a Master of Science degree in a STEM discipline AND 0 years of related professional/military experience, OR a STEM Ph.D. AND 0 years of related professional/military experience
Must have an active DoD Secret or higher clearance (with a background investigation completed within the last 6 years or currently enrolled into Continuous Evaluation)
Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance prior to the commencement of employment
Basic Qualifications (Principal)
Must have a Bachelor of Science degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math (STEM) discipline AND 5 years of related professional/military experience OR a Master of Science degree in a STEM discipline AND 3 years of related professional/military experience, OR a STEM Ph.D. AND 1 year of related professional/military experience
Must have an active DoD Secret or higher clearance (with a background investigation completed within the last 6 years or currently enrolled into Continuous Evaluation)
Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance prior to the commencement of employment
Preferred Qualifications
Prior CAD experience
Understanding of digital threading principles and requirements
Knowledge of Teamcenter and NX (or equivalent PDM/PLM applications)
Understanding of the Systems Engineering “V” model
Knowledge of Agile and Scrum processes and methodologies
Knowledge of risk management processes and methodologies
Knowledge of design, analysis and/or engineering tools development
Professional certifications
Experience providing technical support for the development, testing, and implementation of Common Product Lifecycle Management (CPLM) (Teamcenter)
Experience supporting CPLM user issue resolutions and triage/prioritize impact of user issues in CPLM
Ability to communicate effectively and clearly present technical approaches and recommendations
Ability to thrive in a dynamic working environment
Additional Details Relocation assistance may be available. CLEARANCE TYPE: Secret. TRAVEL: Yes, 10% of the Time.
Salary ranges: Primary Level Salary Range: $70,200.00 - $105,400.00; Secondary Level Salary Range: $86,600.00 - $130,000.00. The above salary ranges are general guidelines and may vary based on scope, responsibilities, experience, and market conditions. Overtime, shift differential, and discretionary bonuses may apply. Benefits include health insurance, life and disability insurance, savings plan, company holidays and PTO.
