CGI is seeking to hire an experienced full-stack developer to join a dynamic team building high-performance web applications using Java 11/17, Spring Boot, Angular, Kafka, and AWS. This is a Full Time Employment opportunity based in Merrimack, NH or Westlake, TX in a hybrid model. Your future duties and responsibilities
Develop and maintain highly scalable and performant web applications using Java 11/17, Angular, Spring, JMS and Kafka. Handle frontend and backend development and unit testing. Design and implement software solutions that meet functional and non-functional requirements and align with the program's strategic direction. Establish and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins to automate testing and deployment of applications on AWS. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product owners, architects, tech leads, engineers, data modelers, and stakeholders) to deliver high-quality software. Participate in product quality efforts, including test case development, design reviews, code reviews, and test automation. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of web development frameworks and best practices. Required Qualifications
6-10 years of software development experience. Strong experience with Java 11/17 and core concepts (Streams, Lambda, Exception Handling, Multithreading, DataSource). Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Microservices, ORM (Hibernate, Mybatis), REST API, Web services, JMS and Kafka. Experience working with SQL/PLSQL. Experience with unit test frameworks like Mockito, JUnit. Exposure to CI/CD and AWS Cloud Infrastructure/Services. Exposure to Karate/Cypress Test Automation is a plus. Commitment to engineering excellence and writing clean, testable, readable, and maintainable code. Understanding of Agile environment and ATDD approach. Collaborative and communicative work style. Experience in the Finance domain is a plus. Knowledge of DevOps, Automated Testing and Continuous Delivery. Education
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related Field. Compensation
CGI is providing a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The current range in the U.S. is $76,300 - $146,800. Benefits
