Motion Recruitment . Our client is seeking a hands-on Network Engineer to support their on-premise network infrastructure. Responsibilities include working on network projects, handling implementations, and providing operational and escalation support. The role involves system documentation, device configurations, maintenance, and lifecycle management within a fully Cisco environment. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with Cisco products. Candidates should be able to think creatively, work independently and collaboratively, and communicate effectively with other departments. Experience working with senior leadership on projects is preferred. Required Skills & Experience
Expertise with Cisco switching (Catalyst & Nexus) Strong experience with Routing Protocols (BGP, OSPF) Data center project experience Creating VLANs Understanding of VXLAN Cisco Wireless experience Experience with network projects like data center consolidations, switch refreshes, and documentation updates Full network engineering experience Desired Skills & Experience
SDWAN implementation (Viptela) Firewall experience (FirePower, Palo Alto) Tech Breakdown
