AI Agent Architect (Manager Level) The AI Agent Architect will design, implement, and optimize AI agent frameworks that drive business transformation and operational excellence. This role supports organizational change through intelligent automation, agent orchestration, and advanced analytics. The candidate should be flexible, collaborative, and open to adopting new ideas and technologies to resolve multifaceted business problems. This position reports to the Chief Transformation Officer and sits within the Firm’s internal Business Transformation Office. Responsibilities
Collaborate with stakeholders across the firm to understand operational and business structures, ensuring alignment with business objectives and AI-driven transformation initiatives. Architect and implement AI agent solutions aligned with the firm’s strategic goals, including intelligent automation, conversational agents, and decision-support systems. Lead and execute AI agent projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and quality outcomes. Develop and implement change management strategies to drive adoption of AI technologies across the business. Engineer and manage context for agents to ensure access to the right information at the right time, including methods such as: Prompt Engineering Fine-tuning Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) Tool Use Hybrid Approaches
Drive continuous improvement and innovation in AI agent frameworks to enable greater speed, productivity, and efficiency. Identify, develop, maintain, and communicate measures or KPIs to report progress and demonstrate impact on business outcomes. Enhance system capabilities by integrating AI agents to improve associate productivity and customer experience. Stay up-to-date with industry developments in AI, machine learning, and agent-based technologies. What You Bring To The Role
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related field; Master’s degree preferred. Proven experience in AI architecture, agent-based systems, or intelligent automation; minimum 5 years in a similar role. Experience with the professional services industry is a plus. Strong understanding of AI technologies, frameworks, and their business applications. Excellent project management skills and ability to manage multiple AI projects concurrently. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with business and technical stakeholders. Analytical mindset with the ability to solve complex problems and make data-driven decisions. Understanding of data quality, integrity, and systems integration. Cherry Bekaert offers competitive compensation based on performance and a comprehensive benefits program including retirement plans, medical/dental/vision, disability and life insurance, paid time off, and other programs to support personal and work life. The salary range for this position is 74,670 - 186,000 and final compensation is determined by factors including role, responsibilities, experience, education, skills, and location. Pay Range
