Opportunity As a highly skilled Database Administrator (DBA), you will bring expertise in Microsoft SQL Server and a solid understanding of Identity, Credential, and Access Management (ICAM) systems. In this role, you will manage and optimize our database environments supporting ICAM implementations, ensuring data integrity, security, availability, and performance.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and optimize Microsoft SQL Server databases within ICAM implementations.

Ensure data integrity, security, and performance across database environments.

Implement database security controls aligned with ICAM requirements.

Support database development, including query writing, stored procedures, indexing, and performance tuning.

Maintain backup and disaster recovery strategies for SQL Server environments.

Qualifications

Experience administering Microsoft SQL Server in enterprise environments.

Experience implementing database security controls aligned with ICAM requirements.

Experience with SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) and SQL Server Agent.

Experience with T‑SQL and PowerShell.

Experience supporting databases within ICAM implementations or identity management solutions.

Knowledge of backup and disaster recovery strategies for SQL Server environments.

Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam.

High school diploma or GED.

Nice to Have

Experience with additional RDBMS platforms such as Oracle, PostgreSQL or MySQL.

Experience with database monitoring tools such as Redgate SQL Monitor or SolarWinds.

Experience with DevOps practices, database automation, and CI/CD pipelines.

Experience working in secure or government-regulated environments.

Knowledge of cloud-based database services like Azure SQL Database, Amazon RDS, or Google Cloud SQL.

Knowledge of High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) technologies.

Knowledge of compliance frameworks relevant to ICAM such as NIST, GDPR or HIPAA.

TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph.

Clearance Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.

Compensation & Benefits Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract‑specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). This posting will close within 90 days from the posting date.
