Job Overview: A respected law firm based in Savannah, GA, is actively seeking a Pre-Suit Litigation Attorney to join its dynamic personal injury practice. The ideal candidate will manage a full caseload from intake through pre-litigation resolution, working closely with a legal assistant and maintaining direct contact with clients throughout the claims process. This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by advocating for injured clients and negotiating favorable settlements before litigation. Duties: Directly negotiate injury claims with insurance carriers Independently manage a full docket of personal injury cases Supervise and coordinate with a designated legal assistant Maintain frequent and clear communication with clients Initiate and organize new case files, ensuring accurate documentation from the outset Conduct investigations into liability and damages, compiling relevant case facts and records Assess insurance policy limits and confirm coverage details with carriers Monitor and coordinate client medical treatment and communicate with providers Educate clients about procedures, appointments, and medical documentation Review case progression regularly, analyze treatment records, and assess readiness for demand Organize all documentation to support the demand letter preparation and settlement Requirements: Licensed and in good standing with the Florida Bar Proficient in managing time-sensitive tasks across multiple cases Clear and empathetic communication style, both verbal and written Client-focused mindset with a commitment to outstanding advocacy Ability to work collaboratively and meet deadlines Meticulous attention to detail and critical thinking ability Dependable attendance and adherence to professional ethics Fluency in Spanish or other languages is a plus Education: Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school Certifications: Skills: Insurance negotiation techniques Medical record analysis Team leadership and delegation Legal writing (demands, reports, client updates) Case management software proficiency (e.g., ATO or equivalent platforms) Job Location: On-site role in a collaborative legal office environment Employer-Paid Life Insurance and Disability (Short and Long-Term) Generous paid time off, including holidays and vacation Retirement plan with employer matching (401(k)) Company info
