Fiber Network Services Inc. (FNS) is a communications contractor offering fiber optic and cable network services across the East Coast. FNS is looking to hire an experienced Low Voltage/ISP Wiring Technician to work with our team in Manassas, VA. Location: Manassas, VA. Salary: $20.00/hr – $24.00/hr (base pay). The position is full‑time and entry‑level.
Base pay range $20.00/hr – $24.00/hr
Job Responsibilities
Responsible for cabling ISP Coax and/or Fiber for hybrid/fiber‑coax commercial installs.
Install conduit and cabinets.
Fill concrete pads.
Provide timely updates to FNS Management teams and clients.
Track project lifecycle via Excel, database or other digital platforms.
Ensure all construction projects have a clear and accurate scope.
Maintain accurate timelines for project.
Analyze tasks to ensure all labor and materials are in place prior to kickoff.
Recognize and enforce safe working environments for inside‑plant construction projects.
Document and provide final as‑built and billing information.
Qualifications
Knowledge of ISP low‑voltage wiring.
Effective communication skills and team orientation.
Availability to work every day at 7 am.
Valid driver’s license.
Pass a drug screening.
Pass a background check.
Ability to read and understand technical instruction.
Years of experience: 1–2 preferred.
Education: High School Diploma or GED.
Able to lift up to 25 lbs.
