Our team focuses on designing water and wastewater treatment plants, collection systems, pipelines, and water resource management. The ideal candidate will have a technical interest and be responsible for assisting in preparing plans for water and wastewater systems, writing specifications, performing analyses, and assembling study reports. The candidate may also be involved in determining appropriate design methods and equipment sizing and selection in coordination with HDR staff and clients. As a Water/Wastewater EIT/Coordinator , this is a great opportunity to work on projects including gravity sanitary sewers, force mains, water distribution and transmission pipelines, water and wastewater pump stations, treatment facilities, and related infrastructure. Additional duties could include technical investigations, analysis of detailed studies, report preparation, stormwater management, drainage infrastructure, watershed and water supply planning, fieldwork, and environmental matters related to water resource management. Support hydrologic/hydraulic modeling for stormwater projects, master plans, flood studies, and similar initiatives. Additional responsibilities may include: Supporting and advising civil/process water engineers and technical staff; completing analyses, writing reports, coordinating with sub-consultants, supporting project schedules and budgets, and producing documentation in line with project scope and quality standards. Periodic contact with clients regarding ongoing projects. Carrying out site reconnaissance and developing permit application documents and drawings. Performing other duties as needed. Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of industry-related software packages. EIT certification strongly preferred; candidates without it will hold the title "Coordinator" and are expected to obtain EIT for career progression. Preference for local candidates. #LI-EV1 Required Qualifications:
