Responsibilities
Greet, register, collect copays, and verify patient information. Notify patient arrival to the team and communicate delays, offering rescheduling to ensure timely and effective care.
Obtain proper insurance/authorizations and patient information, collect signatures, and ensure accuracy and completion of necessary documentation.
Schedule, reschedule or cancel appointments, confirm appointments, and notify staff of changes as needed.
Ensure equipment and tools are sterilized in each department before every patient exam.
Assist technologists with patients and safeguard patient property and Health Information (PHI).
Safeguard on-site medications in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.
Respect company property, including cash and patient financial information on-site or on patient portals.
Provide professional, respectful service to patients and coworkers; interact diplomatically with patients, families, and the public in a clinical setting.
Establish, nurture, and maintain cooperative working relationships.

A structured work approach; ability to prioritize work in a fast-paced environment.
To Ensure Success In This Role, You Must Have
High School Diploma
1 year of previous medical office experience and intermediate computer skills
Medical terminology knowledge; recent medical/radiology office work experience is preferred
BLS certification
