Role Our team is looking for a Quality Analyst to join them. You will report to the Director of Quality and will have an onsite work structure in Creedmoor, NC.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace, Quality or Industrial Engineering or a related field
2+ years of experience in a quality role within the aerospace or aviation industry
Familiarity with AS9100, FAA Part 21/145, ISO 9001, or similar standards
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent reading/interpretation and data entry skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with ERP or QMS software is a plus
Certified Quality Analyst, ASQ CQA, Six Sigma Green/Black Belt, or similar credentials
Experience with aerospace product certification or regulatory submissions (FAA/EASA/TC)
Knowledge of APQP, PPAP, FMEA, and other advanced quality planning tools
As a Quality Analyst You Will
Analyze and interpret customer quality specifications to identify contractual and engineering requirements for product configuration
Analyze and implement customer and Ontic based supplier flow down requirements into the ERP system (e.g. Quality codes and clauses)
Support contractual consumption review processes including material reviews, packaging requirements, quality requirements, and manufacturing instructions
Provide clear, concise, logical rationale for mitigating or taking exception to contractual requirements, and wherever possible, providing viable alternate methods of achieving contractual requirements
Support Inspection Planning processes including receiving, in-process, and final inspection templates
Support supplier quality performance activities and collaborate on supplier corrective actions when necessary
Support implementation and maintenance of quality management systems (QMS), ensuring compliance with AS9100 and other applicable standards
Conduct internal audits and support external audits by regulatory bodies or customers
Assist in the development and tracking of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for quality and continuous improvement
Facilitate root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective/preventive action (CAPA) processes
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues, support risk assessments, and verify effectiveness of quality controls
Maintain document control and records per regulatory and company standards

Compensation and Compliance Compensation Pay Range: $75,000-90,000/yr based on experience
