8+ years hands-on experience with:
RedHat/CentOS command-line administration
Linux/Unix networking (nmap, tcpdump, firewalls)
Kickstart provisioning and setup on RedHat/CentOS systems
2+ years experience in: RedHat DNS Administration (DNS, DHCP, hosts files)
Kubernetes deployments using Helm charts
Infrastructure automation with Salt and Terraform
GitOps workflows using ArgoCD for CI/CD in Kubernetes
CI/CD pipeline development in GitLab
Monitoring with Prometheus and Grafana
Supporting and scaling AWS Cloud environments
Troubleshooting complex network/data flow issues
Strong background in managing and maintaining Kubernetes clusters in data-intensive environments
Experience in Linux-based cloud system administration for large-scale Hadoop/Accumulo clusters
Technical Skills: Proficient in Bash and Python scripting
Experience with configuration management tools: Ansible, Puppet, SaltStack, Chef, Terraform
System monitoring and network troubleshooting in cloud-based environments
Education & Certifications: Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field (Systems Engineering, Computer Science, etc.) OR 4 additional years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree
Certifications required prior to start: 8570 IAT Level I or higher (Security+ preferred)
One of the following: AWS Certified SysOps Administrator – Associate
AWS DevOps Engineer – Professional
Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)
