Overview
Nemours Children's Health is seeking Pediatric Physiatrists to join our team in Jacksonville, Florida. Selected candidates will provide interdisciplinary, patient-centered rehabilitation care to optimize function, promote independence and improve quality of life for pediatric patients with a variety of congenital, developmental and acquired conditions. Key responsibilities
Direct the care of pediatric patients with a range of neuromuscular, musculoskeletal and developmental conditions including cerebral palsy, brain and spinal cord injuries, congenital anomalies and chronic pain syndromes Develop and manage individualized care plans focused on functional goals, mobility, communication, and self-care Collaborate with physical, occupational, and speech therapists, as well as other medical and surgical specialists Prescribe orthotics, prosthetics, adaptive equipment, and therapies as appropriate. Provide care in both inpatient rehabilitation units and outpatient clinics Participate in acute care consultations and interdisciplinary team meetings What We Offer
