Responsibilities
Ensure successful installation of fiber/telecom cables, materials, or support structures according to relevant codes, regulations, and customer requirements.
Safely use equipment like bucket truck, digger derrick, excavators.
Ensure work areas are safe and traffic flows smoothly.
Safely work at heights using climbing hooks and ladders.
Safely use hand tools and power tools like wrenches, drills, and saws.
Provide guidance and support to others as needed.
Be ready to travel for storm response on short notice.
Complete daily work orders and crew checks to document productivity and safety compliance.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
18 years of age or older.
Authorization to work in the United States for this company.
High school diploma, GED, or relevant work experience.
Valid state driver's license (cannot be provisional) with acceptable driving record.
Must be able to pass a DOT physical exam, resulting in a valid medical card.
At least 3 years of related work experience.
To be a certified pole climber or willing to become certified.
CDL Class “A” driver license preferred.
Physical Abilities & Exposures
Routine: work with arms above shoulder level, heights in confined spaces and remote locations, operate vehicle and heavy machinery, use ladder, bend, stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs and lift objects >55 lbs.
Occasional: use keyboard and mouse.
